It was founded in 2000 as Cefrico Centro Frigorifico Conservero, in response to the increasing demand of high quality fish products. Its registered office is located in Vilagarcia de Arousa, in the province of Pontevedra. The Vilagarcia de Arousa site has a total surface area of approximately 27,000 square meters, including 17,000 square meters of factory space. With an annual production capacity of approximately 18,000 tons, the company produces a range of products including flatfish fillets, skin fish fillets, frozen whole squid, squid rings, squid slices, swordfish loins, frozen tuna, halibut fillets, raw octopus, cooked octopus, and boiled octopus slices. The company has a 75,000 cubic-meter storage space, with a cooling capacity of approximately 20,000 tons. It aims to achieve the best possible control of the supply and quality of the products it offers to its customers. The company is part of Spain's Grupo Profand, which is one of the leading business groups in the frozen and chilled seafood markets in Europe. Headquartered in Vigo, the group has a fully integrated business structure, extending from fishing to processing and marketing.
